wow how time flies

Hey you all',

I can not believe it is almost Christmas 2016. Crazy right... I am working on getting a new PC, a new speech recognition software and more than likely a new book keeping software program... for the NEW YEAR OF 2017.... GURRRRRR! I really wish technology would SLOW DOWN! Other than that life is A-mazing!

I wanted to show you a bit of my last Best of Show Quilt called Alliatare. The pattern and colors were available to followers of Bonnie Hunter from her http://quiltville.blogspot.com/ sight. She provides a free Mystery quilt pattern, directions, techniques page, every year about this time if you want to follow along. the clues come every Friday till the new year rolls around then she has a big "REVILE" day! something I look forward too... Of course you don't have to do her colors and you can mix it but as it is your quilt, but I tend to follow her for the most part... This years maybe turn out a bit different...

It's mostly for those who have lost a spouse or are alone or lonely this time of year. I am so BLESSED to have my amazing spouse and 1 child still in the area who helps here on the ranch, that I do have stuff to do to keep me busy but with all the other kids and grand kids spread all over the country it gets a little slower around here during this time of the year...

Ranching is not very profitable but then we don't do it for the money obviously. We do it for the safe food we produce and consume, an for the friends and neighbors we meet and spend time with and of course for a "rest, relax and rejuvenate" spot for the city kids and grand kids to come and recover at...
